How to start making money in life

There is a popular saying that: A journey of a thousand miles starts with a step. Many people keep looking for jobs and they refuse to leave the comfort of their room to go in search of one.

Half of any success you will record in life is in starting.

Many plan to start some business that will bring extra income but never get started.

Some people make a resolution and promise themselves, at the beginning of the year, that they would start saving some money every month but never started.

While others complain that they would have started their business but for the fact that there isn't enough capital.

Many planned wonderful things at the beginning of the year and till the year ends they would not have started anything.

The  problem is not that they lack interest; the problem is they do not know how to start.

Just imagine what the world would have been like, if men did not start some things we are all enjoying today; the light, the fast means of transport systems compared to what we had in those early days. Imagine the devices we now make use of. All these are as result that somebody started.

So also it is in making money in life. As we know, many obstacles can keep even a highly motivated person from succeeding.

Desire is not just enough to succeed in life because if it was enough, then everybody would have become a millionaire or very successful. Making money goes more beyond desire. Action is needed.

Financial success is like a book, and starting to finishing are from the front to the back covers. Until you open that first cover, you can't experience anything from the pages within.

Therefore there are some things underlined below to get us started.

1. Start with yourself

The only person that can say no to you, even when every other thing says yes it still will be no is you. To succeed financially, you have to start with yourself. People who have succeeded in life have always started with themselves; in life there is no one who does not have the capacity to succeed. Start with yourself.

2. Start Early

Early to rise, Early to bed. Early to start business or investment, Early to bed of enjoyment in life, because you would have learnt all the lessons early in life. Do not wait until you are old to start a business or an investment. Or are you the type that cannot start in December and want to start in January because you think December is too early. January is just a month like December that is at the beginning of the year. Start now. There can never be any better time than now.

3. Start Small

The problem with too many people is that they think they have to start big. And when there are no such resources they remain rooted in one place. Please remember Rome was not built in a day, and everything big started small. Nothing big started big; everything big started small. Have you ever seen a tree that sprout up in a day? Then you would have seen a magic somewhere. When you were given birth to you didn't just grow up immediately. You did not start high school that same day. So, don’t be in a hurry. Every true and lasting great wealth starts small. So don’t try to get rich overnight.

4. Start with the future in View 

You have to project where you business will be in future. What is your picture of the future? Start with that. You have to project where your business will be in the future when starting. Just like the airplane knows it destination from it’s starting so also your business.

 5. Start now.

The time to start is now. Yes, it is too easy to say I will start tomorrow. We promise that tomorrow we will start a business, a career or a relationship. But until we actually begin, a dream remains a dream. 

Successful people don’t wait for everything to be perfect to move forward. They don’t wait for all the problems or obstacle to disappear. They don’t wait until their fear subsides. They take initiative. As soon as they take that first step and start moving forward, things become a little easier. If the momentum gets strong enough, many of the problems take care of themselves and talent can take over. But it starts only after you’ve taken the first steps. so you need to start now. 

Start that project now. Start that business now. Start writing that book now. Start that investment now.
